We are looking for a dedicated, Retail Sales Specialist to help our customers and manage the front desk during our open hours. This position also includes assisting with inventory tasks and helping customers select items for their home and lifestyle.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Actively provide exemplary customer service to every customer that comes in the store
*Greet customers and ask if they need assistance
*Stay up to date on product knowledge and trends
*Perform opening duties: turning on lights, getting the store ready to open, etc.
*Perform closing duties: turn off lights, lock all doors, restock inventory, etc.
*Fill in empty spaces in the store when needs restocked
*Keep store fresh - rearrange, restock, beautify, water plants
*Keep store, bathrooms, and windows clean
*Help plan store events
*Pack and ship online orders when needed
*Provide in-store customers with help: answering questions and selecting products
*Manage inventory and and perform inventory counts
*Assist in inventory receiving process: unpacking, removing manufacturer branding, print pricing stickers and apply to items
*Manage the front desk during open hours
*Identify problems, bring to the team, help develop solutions
*Keep retail desk stocked with bags, tissue paper and all other packing materials
*Have an eye for design and apparel and feel comfortable helping customers pick out Fern.ish Home products
*Experience in retail
*Experience in customer service
*Good communication skills
*Enjoys working with a team
*Must be available on weekends
*Must have reliable transportation
*Able to lift 30-40 pounds and move furniture
*Part-time and full-time positions available
*Must be local
